Hardie-Coleman House
The Allan Lucky Murder House, also known as the Hardie-Coleman House, is located in Uniontown, Alabama. This historic mansion, built in 1918, gained notoriety after the gruesome murder of 13-year-old Allan Lucy by his adoptive father, Philip Lucy, in 1985.
Allan was reported missing, with his parents claiming he had run away. However, in 1994, renovations on the house uncovered Allan’s remains buried beneath the porch, wrapped in a Disney blanket. This discovery led to Philip Lucy’s conviction for murder in 1997.
He was re-convicted on appeal in 2001 but died by suicide shortly thereafter. His wife, Margaret, was implicated but not charged, as she cared for their other children until her death in 1996.
The mansion has since been abandoned, and its eerie state has attracted urban explorers and photographers. It remains a chilling reminder of the crime and its impact on the community.
